Florida Government-in-the-Sunshine law provides a right of access to governmental proceedings and documents.

Florida law does not require anyone to place a public records request in writing.  However, if you would like to do so, please make your public record request by calling the Town of Cutler Bay, Office of Town Clerk at (305) 234-4262 or emailing townclerk@cutlerbay-fl.gov

Please be assured your request will be addressed in the order in which it was received and will be produced within a reasonable amount of time. Should this request rise to the level of “extensive” the Town will provide you with a written estimate, of which a deposit must be paid, prior to commencement. 

Also, please be advised that the statutory obligation of the custodian of public records is to provide access to, or copies of, public records in a reasonable period of time, under reasonable conditions, and under supervision by the custodian or the custodian's designee. However, Florida statutes do not require the custodian of records to provide information about the records produced or to create new records in response to a request.

The below form is provided only as a convenience.  You may submit a records request in person, over the phone or via email if you choose.

By submitting this form, any personal information provided will become public record per Florida Statues Chapter 119.
