Community Development

The Community Development Department is comprised of the Planning & Zoning Division, Building Division, and Code Compliance Division.

Planning and Zoning Division

The Planning & Zoning Division is responsible for proactively planning and facilitating quality development and redevelopment, ensuring the high quality of the built environment and enforcing compliance with land development regulations in our Town.

Building Division

The Building Division is responsible for the review, inspection and permitting of new construction and/or alterations to any structures within the Town in accordance with the current prevailing building codes, zoning regulations, ordinances and Statues adopted by the Town of Cutler Bay and the State of Florida.

Code Compliance Division

The Code Compliance Division is responsible for the administration and implementation of Town Codes. The activities of Code Compliance Division are intended to improve the community's standard of living and enhance property values within the Town of Cutler Bay.
