Hurricane Ian Preparation

Although we are not in the direct path of Hurricane Ian, we continue to track and monitor the storm and work with our Town staff and the South Florida Water Management District to prepare for possible effects.

Visit www.miamidade.gov/hurricane to get many resources in preparation for the storm and, don't forget:

  • If you see any downed power lines, stay away from them and report them to FPL at 1-800-4OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243).
  • Do NOT drive through flooded streets. Turn around and find an alternate route.
  • If you see any downed trees blocking public roads and right-of-ways, or heavy flooding in your area, email our Public Works Director at aquintero@cutlerbay-fl.gov.
