USACE Virtual Briefing on Miami-Dade Back Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study
About this Briefing
The Miami-Dade Back Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study is a Study being conducted by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) that examines the impacts of and potential responses to storm-surge damage in Miami-Dade County. The study area includes coastal and inland areas that are at risk from coastal-storm flooding and sea-level rise that includes Cutler Bay.
The Town of Cutler Bay has invited the USACE to present the study to the public through our virtual platform, Adobe Connect. During the briefing, viewers will be informed about the study as well as have an opportunity to provide public comment.
Instructions to Attend the Briefing
The meeting is accessible to the public live via the following web link:

Select “Guest”, enter your name, and then Click “Enter Room.” The meeting should open directly in your browser. If prompted to Enable Flash Player, select “Enable.”
You will receive a message asking if you want to join via telephone. Please select the option that indicates Adobe Connect will call you and include your phone number. In approximately 30 seconds, you will receive a phone call from Denver, Colorado (303 Area Code). Upon answering, you will be instructed to Dial 1 and you will then be entered into the audio room. If you are experiencing issues joining via telephone, please dial 1-800-832-0736 and enter audio room number 3721679#
Instructions on How to Public Comment
If you are logged into the meeting via telephone and wish to make a public comment, you will be prompted to press *# on your phone. You will be placed in the queue to speak. If you are using the web application and telephone simultaneously, please MUTE your desktop speakers and/or microphone during this time.
If you have your phone unmuted and are not speaking, the Event Facilitator/Host will manually mute your phone.
Close all running applications on your device. Close competing applications on your device, and throughout your house to ensure optimal WiFi connection.
