Overview

The Planning and Zoning Division is responsible for proactively planning and facilitating quality development, ensuring the high quality of the built environment and enforcing compliance with land development regulations in our Town.

Responsibilities

The Planning and Zoning Division provides zoning plan review, zoning information and interpretations, considers administrative adjustments and prepares recommendations to the Town Council on public hearing items for zoning variance, site plan, land use and zoning district change requests.  The Planning and Zoning Division is committed to administering the Town's Growth Management Plan and Land Development Regulations.  These documents list the Town's land use and development requirements including, density, permitted uses, building setbacks, signage as well as other regulations.
