Cutler Bay Hurricane Milton Update

As Hurricane Milton approaches, the Town of Cutler Bay is taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our residents. Please note the following closures and updates:

  • Town Parks: Town parks and pool will be closed all day Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10.
  • Town Hall: Town Hall offices will remain open until noon on Wednesday, October 9. If you have questions, call us at (305) 234-4262 or at info@cutlerbay-fl.gov. Town Hall offices will be closed all day Thursday, October 10.
  • Sandbag Distribution Site: The sandbag distribution site at Veterans Park (SW 87th Ave & Old Cutler Rd) will be closed both Wednesday and Thursday due to inclement weather.
  • Active Adults, After School, and Recreation Programs: All Active Adults and After School activities are canceled on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10.
  • Town Circulator and MetroConnect: All transit systems, including the Town Circulator Bus and MetroConnect, will operate as usual unless winds of 39 mph are sustained.

Please remember:

  • Downed power lines: Report to FPL at 1-800-4OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243) and avoid them.
  • Flooded streets: Do not drive through flooded areas—turn around and find an alternate route.
  • Blocked roads or flooding: If you encounter downed trees or heavy flooding, email our Public Works Director at aquintero@cutlerbay-fl.gov.
