Public Hearing - Removal of Second Municipal Circulator Bus
The purpose of this hearing is to inform town residents of the elimination of the second municipal circulator bus on route No. 500. This route was being funded by a Florida Department of Transportation grant that has concluded. The remaining circulator bus will continue its regular service. This change will be implemented on or about July 22, 2024.
This hearing will provide interested parties with the opportunity for comments regarding the Town’s intent to discontinue the second municipal circulator bus service which was funded by a Florida Department of Transportation Grant.
Since 2012, the Town has contracted with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works to provide Municipal Circulator Bus services for residents as a reliable and inexpensive way to commute within the Town. The existing Municipal Circulator Bus will continue to run seven (7) days a week (Monday through Sunday) stopping at all existing bus stops, benches, shelters, and the South-Dade Transitway along its route.
