July 1st 2010-Miami-Dade County Public Works Project - Old Cutler Road Bike Path

June 30th 2010-Join Your Neighbors and Friends for a July 4th Celebration
The 43rd Annual Cutler Bay-Whispering Pines July 4th Celebration will take place at Whispering Pines Park on Sunday, July 4th starting at 9:00 a.m. The parade and celebration will be followed by a fireworks display that starts at 9:00 p.m. at Black Point Marina & Park. The Town of Cutler Bay is pleased to announce the launch of our new and improved Online Resident Access Information and Request tracking system, GovQA. Our new system will allow citizens to easily search for answers to frequently asked questions enter requests and opinions online and track the progress of their request any time, any place, enabling our Town staff to offer improved customer service. This new and improved system will enhance our efforts to provide a better looking, more efficient community with a high level of citizen involvement and satisfaction. We are now officially in the wet season in South Florida when 70 percent of the year’s rain falls. In our region, flooding can happen when heavy rainfall occurs over a short period of time from a single, heavy storm, tropical system or hurricane. We provided a button you may find useful for your websites which links directly to the SFWMD website. The site includes timely information about how the South Florida Water Management operates during the rainy season and the preparations now in place for seasonal readiness. The website also contains information about what residents can do to prepare for upcoming storms and what to anticipate in the aftermath of heavy rains.
