Frequently asked questions about the Pool 

What time is the pool open for public swim?
Monday - Friday: 7am - 3pm

Saturday: 12:30pm - 4:30pm

Where are we located?

What is the cost to get in the pool for lap swimming and public swim?
The cost is $2.00 for Adults , $1.50 for Children, $1.25 For Senior Citizen

Can I reserve or rent the pool?
Yes you can.  The cost is $75 per hour. It can be reserved for after the pool is closed on Saturday or Sunday

Do we have a swim team?
Yes, we have two swim teams that practice at our facility (Riptides and Wahoo’s)

What levels do we teach?
American Red Cross standard classes of Mommy and Me; Tiny Tots and levels 1-3

What if I need additional registration info?
Contact # (305) 238-5344 registration starts April 27, 2015 7am to 1pm am 3pm to7pm

Park Maintenance

Who do we report Graffiti to?
Who do I report faulty playground equipment to?
Who do I report faulty lighting equipment to?
Who do I report unsafe areas in the athletic fields?

The only answer we can provide for these questions would be to call the Parks and Recreation Department at 305-238-4166. These are very unique questions, the answers may be lengthy.

After School Program

How do I sign up?
You can sign up at Cutler Ridge Park Office located at 10100 SW 200 St.  Cutler Bay Fl 33157 by August 1st.  The acceptance is based on a lottery.

How much does the program cost?
The program is free and is funded by the Children’s Trust and DOJJ Department of Juvenile Justice.
 
What are the ages/grades that are eligible to attend? 
We accept students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

What are the hours? 
2pm-6pm Monday through Friday. 
 
What is included in the program?
The schedule we follow is mandated by the Children’s Trust.  The schedule is as follows:

  • Snack Time
  • Homework
  • Physical Fitness
  • Reading
  • Social Skills 

Do you provide food? 
Snacks are provided on a daily basis by FLIPANY, our snack partner. 

What are the requirements of the After School Program?  
The main requirement is to attend at least 80% of the days that the program is open.
 
Is the park open on teacher planning days? 
Yes we are open on MOST teacher planning days and spring break.  Effective winter 2015 we will no longer offer winter break.

What is the Children’s Trust and DOJJ?
