CrimeMapping.com was developed to help law enforcement agencies throughout North America provide the public with valuable information about recent crime activity in their neighborhood. The goal is to reduce crime rates through a better informed citizenry. Creating more self-reliance among community members is a great benefit to community oriented policing efforts everywhere and has been proven effective in combating crime.
CrimeMapping.com utilizes an advanced mapping engine, which helps provide a high level of functionality as well as flexibility to the agencies. Crime data is extracted on a regular basis from each department's records system so the information being viewed is the most current available. This data is verified for accuracy and all address information is generalized by block in order to help ensure privacy is protected.
Town residents can now view reported crimes, within their neighborhoods, by simply following the instructions below:
The Town of Cutler Bay is included as one of the sub-categories under districts. When you open the link you will see the tabs that state What, Where, When, etc. Under "where", select police districts, then Cutler Bay. Update map and you are ready to view the map. The selected crimes will appear.
