The Active Adults program is a series of events and activities the Town designs and organizes for Cutler Bay residents aged 55 and over to provide social enrichment and engagement within the community. The program, developed by the Parks and Recreation team, is one of the Communities For A Lifetime (CFAL) committee's initiatives. The purpose of the CFAL Committee is to: inventory and assess services important for senior independence and care; and identify activities and opportunities for seniors currently available within the Town (Resolution #12-04).
Active Adults events occur monthly and include:
- Luncheons (year-round)
- Field Trips (year-round)
- Lectures and Information Sessions (year-round)
- Health and Resource Fair (May)
- Annual Senior Games (October)
