During the meeting, residents will be given an overview of the Special Assessment District Division Office, what they do and why there is a need for a potential rate increase. County staff will be present to assist residents in looking up their properties and to address their individual concerns.

*The Assessment Districts within the Town that would be impacted by the potential increase are: L-1113 Alexandria Estates; L-1056 Cutler Bay Palms; L-1054 Cutler Breeze; L-979 La Costa at Old Cutler Section Two; L-928 Pelican Bay at Old Cutler Lakes; L-904 La Costa at Old Cutler Section One; L-870 Cudimar at Black Point Marina; L-828 Rosewood Homes; L-773 Lakes by the Bay Section Fourteen; L-562 Old Cutler Forest; L-300 Munne Royal Homes; L-287 Cutler Country Groves First Addition; L-237 Cutler Country Groves; L-944 Santa Barbara Subdivision.
To find out if you live in one of the mentioned Special Taxing Districts, visit: www.miamidade.gov/propertysearch and look up your home address. Once the information for your home appears, navigate to the "Featured Online Tools" section and click on the "Special Taxing Districts and Other Non-Ad valorem Assessments." This will take you to a page that will show you which, if any, Special Taxing Districts your home belongs to.
