The Townwide Bus Shelter Project Phase I Is Currently Underway!
The Town has officially begun the beautification project for the Townwide Bus Shelter Phase I. The project consists of implementing new bus shelters, by removal and replacement of the existing aluminum bus shelters at various locations throughout Town that were originally installed and owned by the Miami-Dade Transit Authority (MDT). Once completed, the Town will have installed a total of eleven (11) decorative bus shelters throughout Cutler Bay.
The new bus shelters have architectural features such as coral rock and/or keystone that provides a historic character and image similar to the Old Cutler Road Historic Path and will match the design and specifications of those completed for the Caribbean Boulevard project. The project also incorporates a bench, trash can, and bike post to match those previously implemented.
