Full Press Release: Voters in Cutler Bay Reject General Obligation Bond Referendum
An important decision has been made by the Town of Cutler Bay voters which affirms the Town will not move forward in issuing General Obligation Bonds in the amount of $40 million. Had they been approved, the bonds would have been used to acquire vacant land to be used for the development of new parks and open space, and/or public facilities, and/or opportunities for economic development.
