Public Advisory - Miami-Dade County to Conduct Aerial Spraying for Mosquitoes
Aerial Spraying Rescheduled for Friday, June 16th (Weather Permitting)
Dear Town Residents,
Please be advised of the following:
The Mosquito Control and Habitat Management Division has rescheduled the aerial spraying activity which was canceled last night because of unfavorable weather conditions.
A new flight is planned for this evening, Friday, June 16th, at 8 p.m., weather permitting. If the flight is delayed because of the weather, spraying could begin later in the evening and be completed overnight in the pre-dawn hours on Saturday, June 17th.
The spray treatment is scheduled to take place over: Homestead, Florida City, the Redlands, West Kendall and areas east of U.S. 1 from S.W. 248 Street to the Rickenbacker Causeway, covering parts of Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, South Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Miami (click here to view the PDF map).
